Handsome baby!
I really want to be able to take Dempsey out on his training lead, but it's the other dogs in the area that I don't trust - or rather their irresponsible owners.

I know the feeling but Chance tends to send most dogs running the other way if they try it

Re: Mum what's over there?
Our local dogs don't seem to have much sense in that aspect! We constantly get owners (particularly Labrador owners, for some reason) letting their dogs come bouncing up to play when Dempsey is on the lead. Dempsey hates dogs jumping on him and gets very antsy when he can't get away, which usually causes problems.

Collies are the problem around here, but they normally go for harvey for some reason so he's a little nervous of them

Re: Mum what's over there?
We get problems will collies in the fields 20 minutes from our house, but in the park we usually take Dempsey to it's Labradors, Staffies and little terriers. The dogs themselves are usually lovely, although a few of the terriers can be a bit dog aggressive (bless 'em!). It's the owners who do my head in!
I know what you mean. Demps is nervous of medium-sized black dogs such as Labradors and has been ever since an incident one night when he was a pup.

Poor Harvey! And people always assume it's the Staffords as fault!

Sad, but I suppose there's always going to be a breed that people love to hate.

Apparently the Husky, but I think that will die down once the films/programmes (Twilight and Game of Thrones) have run their course.
