Please keep your dogs on their leads around sheep, even if your dog is the least likely animal to ever chase sheep. Farmers can and will shoot dogs if they feel that they pose a threat to their livestock.

I do wish that people would keep their dogs on a lead near sheep. It terrifies the sheep, quite apart from any physical damage the dog might cause.
