Antlers/Stag Bars
Dempsey loves stag bars, and I've found this site to be the best one for varies products...

Re: Antlers/Stag Bars
Definitely agree! Particularly the half fallow antler, as it softens when it's chewed.

Re: Antlers/Stag Bars
They've put on a couple of new things - the antler bakes are brilliant, and they do a hessian toy with a plastic bottle sewn into it so it crackles when your dog bites it. Demps loves both!

They last a very long time, as well.

We buy antlers here too. The dogs love them, but they are very expensive here.

Re: Antlers/Stag Bars
They're a reasonable price over here, but we have a lot of deer in the UK, so antlers get shed all over the place!

Re: Antlers/Stag Bars
They are about £10 for a medium size one in PAH here, which is expensive enough for me! Especially when Kuchar gives one sniff and walks away! so it's an expensive floor ornament

Re: Antlers/Stag Bars
Compared to the £15-odd for a so-called 'indestructible' toy, it's a lot better in the long run. If the dogs are interested, that is

Re: Antlers/Stag Bars
Some dogs need to be encouraged to chew on them. Apparently if you soak one overnight in cold water, in the fridge, most dogs will happily gnaw on it afterwards!

Re: Antlers/Stag Bars
Tried soaking them, tried smearing peanut butter into the marrow holes - still boring as far as Kuchar is concerned!
