Any big plans, other than Crufts?

obviously my dad is coming to stop for the weekend after crufts, will be going down after that to visit martin's dad for the big news and really just getting out and about with the boys, especially seeing as though the weather has been so nice the last few days!

Sounds nice! Are you excited to tell them the news?

Yeah, the weather's really warmed up! Pouring with rain last week and now it's all sunny!

My dad (and his) i can't wait to tell, haven't decided how to tell my mum, as in face to face or phone.

Sounds bad i know but we really aren't that close and he's the same with his mum, they haven't spoke for about 4 years now!

Face to face.

It's the only way, honestly.

But that means me going to her, she'd never come to me.

I also don't want her involved very much either as she will not agree with our choices, we've already made

Difficult situation! Is there any way you could persuade her to make the journey?

Don't get me wrong i've always said she's welcome to come to ours, but she's always declined.

She comes to Sheffield or through quite a bit for work, even drove past our house (apparently) but didn't stop to see us, 'cos she didn't know if we were in!

I've not decided yet anyway got a bit of time before i'm telling her

Ideally, yes, but sometimes things happen that could make face-to-face awkward or tense. If that's the case, I think it's important to consider what way would put the least amount of stress on you!

I must have missed that you are having holidays Ella, but I hope you have a lovely relaxing time!

As for telling your mum your great news, it depends on how you think she'll receive it and you'll be the best judge of that. I wish you luck whatever method you choose, but please don't let it stress you

I think she will take it well, but be nochalant about it. Will do what's best for us
