Owner defends himself and his dog in article about dog attack

Having been in his position, I do sympathise if what he says is true. The big dog does usually get the blame. Dempsey is always under control, but the only fights he has ever been in have been because somebody else has not had their dog under control. Because he's usually the bigger dog though, we have to be extra careful because if a small dog like a JRT attacks him and he defends himself, he'd be blamed. It's ridiculous!
