Nasty. I also hope that they find out what happened. But I'm more than a little concerned that they buried the dog without even seeing if it was microchipped. It might be a stolen dog used as a bait dog & the owner could be frantic with worry. sad

Yes, I think they should have scanned for a chip. straight face

And searched the lost dog databases.

Let's hope that it was a pet whose owner buried it in its favourite walking place, and just didn't do a very good job of it.
