Dangerous dogs being sold online - for once, a realitvely reasonable article

This. So much. So good to see somebody who doesn't automatically condemn a dog to death.
“Dogs aren’t an accessory. They take time and money and a lot of looking after. When people have them for the wrong reasons they put themselves, and other people at risk. Then when they pass them on, no-one knows what the risks are.
“If you have a dog that’s aggressive the best thing is to get it to a local training centre. As a last resort you can try talking to a rescue centre but you have to be honest with them. Best of all, if you’re not sure, don’t get a dog.
“If you do want to get a dog, go to a reputable animal sanctuary – never buy one off the internet.”
