Thanks, it is awful what happens to battery hens.... lights raised & lowered to produce 2 eggs a day. Never feeling sun on their faces. Mine now run is the yard. Play in the sun. Dig for grubs, worms & spiders. Play with my dogs, share food with them & strangely.... by choice...they even play in the rain instead of going undercover.????

& cheers for the welcome.

All animals deserve to have the freedom to behave as naturally as possible. I'm not sure there's much that could be lovelier to see than an animal playing. happy

Your two are GORGEOUS  but Jessie is to die for! I don't think I've ever seen a dobe x staff before.

I just re read the post & you know it's funny you say that Jess is to die for! (I agree  happy  but I am also bias so nice to hear it from someone else.) Most people prefer Tyson. For some reason most people are not Jessie lovers without even knowing her. Which I will never get as she is so beautifully natured & far more gentle as a rule than Tyson.

Seriously? I could give you 100 reasons people are not fond of her.
Not least that she looks mean to most people so they steer clear of her & pat Tyson instead. She think's "what about me" & pushes in for a pat, ( & I will admit, when she wants a pat she WILL let you know.) confirming their belief that she is a forceful dog.

shocked How could anyone think she looks mean sad it usually makes me laugh when a dog pushes in to get a pat, the "hey, I'm here too" is cute  love
