My friend takes photos at training Saturdays but it takes her a while to get them uploaded.
These are from last week.

Lequita is still in Puppy Class as she's quite timid and a bit nervous.

She's turning into such a beautiful girl

Good focus on her food here.

My handsome boytjie. He's very focused when working.

Down Axel. He downs nicely, going back onto his haunches and not forwards onto his front paws.

Ignore Sue, focus on mum and her yummy treats.

He didn't get much training in the Intermediate class so I had him do some heel work in the Advance class. He can actually move up into the class but he's so young, I'm holding him back.

I never before really believed that a dogs 'lines' can seriously have an impact on it's work ethic but he's changing my opinion.
He is so easy! He learns and figures things out on his own.

There's quite a drastic difference between the lines in GSDs, so I suppose you'd notice it more than you would another breed. I bet he'll continue to improve with every second! happy

Axel is such a handsome boy, and intelligent, too! Lequita is a really pretty girl. Is she picking things up quickly as well?

What stunning photos! And stunning dogs too.

Is Lequita pure bred GSD? I know next to nothing about them, but I thought she has a look of Belgian Shepherd about her (Groenendal?  thinking ). Maybe because she is black.

Yes she is.
When they're young you can get confused with the blacks. I'll try and get a side view of her; you'll she's quite sturdy and stubby. she has a very fine boned face that also doesn't help her looks.   wink  She's maturing slowly.

Caryll: She's a lot more hard work. She learns very quickly but my mum taught her bad work ethic. She learned to refuse to do things and my mum would just leave her to play.
She's having a bit of a hard time now because I am making her do what I want (but then giving her a huge reward). We had a 40min battle of wills Saturday night. I asked her to down and she just refused. I got comfy and waited her out. She was falling asleep sitting up but would not go down.
Hopefully she'll soon learn that I'm not the type of person you want to go head to head with  laughing

It will.
She's getting better and better plus she's only been with me for almost 3 weeks.
What I can say is that she is my dog. Yesterday at the dog show she was pulling after me, following me, keeping me in sight the whole time and not bothered with my mum at all.

This is why I prefer working male dogs, you don't have to put up with moodiness, pms and bitchiness  laughing laughing laughing
