I can see this becoming a new fad.

Both pups looks sickly & very thin, maybe even a little deformed. I wonder if the bitch has come into contact with some sort of chemical during her pregnancy?

I think it's unlikely that it will become a fad. Considering how rare it is, with it only being documented a few times before, it would be incredibly difficult to replicate and even more difficult to produce healthy, surviving pups. The green fades anyway, so I doubt it would generate enough interest to catch on.

It's believed that the colouring may be due to exposure to a substance in the placenta.

Hope the remaining pup survives!

I doubt it, somehow. It looks terribly sickly in the photos.  

You never know! Demps was very sickly and weak when he was born, but look at the size of him now!

The moment they find a way to replicate it, it'll become a fad. They dye dogs with dangerous hair colours to look like pandas and tigers. They'll try this if possible.
I have very little faith in humanity where it comes to making easy money.

I don't think it would be easy enough for most people to bother with it - they'd probably just skip straight to the dyes.
