Had a bit of a near miss with Demps today!
As he was on his way down to 'help' with the rotavating (see other gallery thread!), Demps found an old bone. I thought it was chicken at first (probably lamb, according to mum - I wouldn't know) but all I saw was him diving for this small, obviously cooked bone.
With his history of eating things he shouldn't have and putting his life in danger, I lunged at him to get it out. Luckily, the two of us managed to hold him still and wrestle it from his mouth.
I wish people wouldn't just throw cooked bones out like that!

This was away from the street, so I have to admit I wasn't expecting it!
Possible a fox or a cat might have dragged it out of a bin.

I'm also vigilant as mine are also scavengers. Luckily everyone, except Spike, will drop on command.

Dempsey's the same way. On the street, we can see it coming and tell him to 'Leave' before he actually gets to it, which is usually enough. This time, it was in long grass, so we didn't see it until he went to investigate.
