Naming my rescue dog?
We are rescuing a female Maltese x from our local shelter in a few days. She is about 7 months old and is very playful. Our other dog is a French mastiff named Abby.

It might be easier to choose once she's arrived at your house, so that you can get a better glimpse of her personality

Thats what I wanted to do but vets would like a name to put on her file before I bring her home. I am leaning towards daisy

Haha my mastiff is pretty good all she really does is sleep and eat but she is the best baby sitter. She just lays there while my daughter climbs all over her. My daughter is very excited to get a new puppy

How big is Abby? She must be a bit like a mountain to your daughter!

Re: Naming my rescue dog?
I've always wanted to call a female dog Silka. Yes I know it's German (I was saving the name for my next Dobermann bitch, which is not likely to happen now!). But if I ever get a female dog with a silky coat, that's what she'll be called.

You can't possibly worse that me!
It takes a bit of getting used to, but you'll soon get the hang of it - and we'll insist on seeing pics of both Abby & Daisy!

Are you having trouble using Photobucket? I found it difficult at first but really it is quite easy, but because my short-term memory is bad I put together and saved a Monkey See Monkey Do list of actions which has so far, touch wood, worked for me. Let me know if you'd like to see it
