Buster to the Rescue!

A bit of news from Dogs Today this month.....


"American Bulldog Buster has been hailed a hero after saving the life of three year old Charlie Blake.

In the early hours of the morning, Charlie wandered downstairs at his home in Telford and became trapped in the cord from the window blinds. Terrifyingly, as Charlie struggled, the cord wrapped tighter around the youngster's neck.

Thankfully, the quick-thinking Buster saw Charlie struggling and began to bark outside his sleeping mum's bedroom door.

Natalie, Charlie's mum, said, "My first reaction was that there was someone inside the house because he never barks at night. I followed him downstairs to where my son was, with the cable around his neck."

Natalie was then able to untangle the cord and save Charlie. He had red marks around his neck, but these have now faded. Buster was the hero of the hour, and it is clear that it is all thanks to him that Charlie's life was saved."

Thank God Buster was there! Bet he got lots of treats afterwards!
