Break out the Tipp-ex!

I have a bottle of that at work. I've never used it!  

It's horrible, smelly stuff!

Tipp-ex fluid was a great help, but not if the top copy (or even carbon copies) had to go to Very Important People because it stood out like a sore thumb. Tipp-ex paper was an improvement , but could still be detected.

Nightmare days! Not everything changes for the best, but at least typing a few words without trauma has!

Yes indeed (although I don't use it, as you've probably noticed!)

Re spell check - it wouldn't have helped this typist who typed "ipso facto" as "if so, fatso".    (no, not me!)

Now that's a typo!
