Tax season

All I can say is:


So much hard work to give away your hard earned money so it can be spent by corrupt officials and the ****ers sitting at home popping out babies one after the other!

Not a happy person!

Tax time here also....

Don't talk to me about it! I'd hate to think how much I've given them over the yrs & what have they given for me in return? Diddly squat!!!!!

I'm glad my tax is automatically taken off my wages!

It is here to Caryll. But we still have to lodge a return every yr & it's not often we get anything back.

We also have to log a return for personal and then we have a business so it's that as well. We freaking work 6 days a week to try and survive and then I just have to give my money away to some asswipe. Makes me very come close to losing my mind!

Sounds soul destroying!

thankfully they dont want my tax return any more and happy with what the company tells them

I was always PAYE until the last few years of my working life when I and my colleagues were made partners and the accountants did our returns. When I retired I went sub-contract for the same s and had to fill in my own returns, which was a complete nightmare, especially in the second year when I didn't get paid for any of my work and filed a loss. And what did Mr Taxman do? Taxed me on my loss!!!! Took ages to sort out.

And it still bugs me that after 40+ years of working my backside off and paying tax all those years, I still have to pay tax on my eensy-weensy pensions
