This video has been running the rounds on the Internet. A lot of people aren't too happy, as they believe that allowing the dog to pounce on the baby's shadow could lead to accidents.

What do you think?

Although it's cute, it's also an accident waiting to happen.

The baby is cute. The dog is, quite frankly, a bit worrying sad

I think both baby and dog are very sweet. Maybe the parents/owners had control over their dog and knew what he was doing, but I'd be concerned that the dog would accidentally land on the baby.

I don't particularly think that it's one of those cases where the parents/owners were being clearly irresponsible, but I think I'd be cautious.

Caution and constant supervision are always required where little children and dogs are concerned of course.

I wouldn't want to suggest that the parents are being irresponsible in any way, and hopefully the dog's pouncing is restricted to shadows. Just needs being kept a wary eye on, is all I'm saying.

Yeah, that's what I think, as well. On one hand, I look at the video and say, "Aww, cute!" On the other hand, not so much. But then I feel bad about being too serious about it. laughing

Mmmmhhh.. I can't think that it's dangerous.
The dog is pouncing. My dogs do this in the field or if some insect scurries under something. They're not serious hunting, it's more to amuse themself and hopefully get a chase game out of it.
The dog looks quite relaxed and unstressed. Can be that it's learned behaviour.
Dog did it by accident first time, got a positive response and now keeps doing it.
