Finally a ray of light.
My friends that lost their bullie "Spok" are off to see two dogs tomorrow. Both 18 wks. One is a brindle, one is a white & black. I think the brindle will be coming home with them tomorrow night. The other is too much like spok from what they tell me. But they could come home with two, But I think the brindle is a safe bet.
I am soooooo happy for them as Spok's dad did it tough when he lost Spok but I think he is trully ready for another dog now.
They are about a 3hr drive away so I will be on the edge of my seat till late tomorrow.

I think they will take just one & I think it will be the brindle, but the white & black may tug on the old heart strings.
Only time will tell.

One might be better to start with, as Bullies can be right pigs if you raise two of the same age together!

Thank you all.
You can be sure I'll post updates as they come to me later today.
& a pics fest as I will see them in a day or two if they return with a new bundle of love & destruction.

Re: Finally a ray of light.
I've heard nothing! Either they are too busy playing or have come home empty handed.
It's just gone 10pm here so...... I will call them tomorrow morning as I need to know!
Don't they know its not their dog (if they took one)? It's MY NEPHEW.

Re: Finally a ray of light.
They got the brindle & white.
They hadn't called as they were at the breeder for about 4 hrs plus a long trip home in fri night peak traffic. They thought 9pm was too late to ring.
Anyway, looks as if his name will be "Indio". Not indigo. Hes actually 21wks. I have 1 pic but its not a good shot, but "FEAR NOT MY FELLOW DOGGIE LOVERS! We are going to meet him tomorrow for lunch so pics will definitely follow shortly.
His new doggie dad has informed me that I am just going to love him & a condition of meeting him is a mandatory bag & body pat down apon my departure!
I can't wait!
Stay tuned & watch this space......

Re: Finally a ray of light.
Ahhhh.... but I would, & he nows & loves me for it. (not trully take him, but as a joke I would try to take him to the car letting him see what I was up to.
He & his wife are probably our best friends. I have never met more doggie nor a nicer family. These are the only people I would leave my dogs with bar my mum or sister. Trully beautiful people!
Whatever they name him, (Indio, billy, sparticus & some other name i can't remember as it stunk) this little man will never want for anything.
There is one condition on his sale though. The breeder wants to collect sperm from him before they neuter him. She wants to ensure his line in her stock. As she was going to keep him but issues with her having to go O/S she will only be able to keep her 2 older females is the only reason he was listed on the bullie club site.
Tomorrow we will met him without mine to seehow he is but we are planning for him to meet them next week as he was great with dogs where he lived. We all thought a week to settle in would be a good idea.
I expect a 3rd dog for new yrs eve this yr as they are here each yr to celebrate & watch fireworks, but couldn't bring Spok. Now they are looking forward to taking this little man everywhere.
I am so happy & excited for them. I cannot wait to see this little boy.

Re: Finally a ray of light.
Just got home a few hrs ago... he is just gorgeous! I have not spent so long on the floor in yrs, & I do love him!
He is smaller bodied than I thought he'd be from the pic they sent, (but it was taken from ground looking up angle. It was not a good pic bar his markings.) his front legs & paws... (the pic doesn't show it, but he is chunky legged. Literally a wider circumference than Tyson. His feet are enormous for his size.) he is going to be either a chunky muffin or huge. His legs are not legs, they are stumps!
He is so sweet natured. He plays by nuzzling & jumping at you but away from you waiting for you to chase or jump back.
We took him a kong as a welcome gift, which he loved after 10 mins. ( I think I got a size too large as he looked bigger in their pic but he was chewing on it today & he will grow quickly so... After new yrs, he should be fine with it.
I forgot to take pics as his doggie dad took them all but just as we left I took two as I remembered I'd promised you all pics.
Here is Indio.
He has a few scratches from being told off by his mum & aunt for being naugty.
Next week he will come for a play date. His dad is cautious, but his mum wants to through him into the mix as I do with pups. He'll be fine... mine love puppies.
Oh dear... I got a broken heart icon. My mistake.
