What to give lexi

So lexis walking a bit limpyer and running with her bad leg up. I was wondering if there is something i can give to ease her? i was thinking cod liver oil but do i give a tablet a day or more?

Might take her back to the vet and say wtf have you done to her, shes not fixed at £600!

Glucosamine & chondroitin (so?) will help with joint stiffness, but there are other natural remedies.

Is something like hydrotherapy a possibility? It might help to strengthen the joints and soft tissue.

Oh, I'm so sorry!

Unfortunately her hip will always have problems. The vets can only fix it so she can use it. You'll have to manage it for the rest of her life as arthritis will set in eventually. Your vet should have discussed this with you.

I have the same issue with Pugsley and his knees.
He gets double doses of a MSM, glucosamine, chondroitin mix (Arthri-Joint from VetsBrands).
I have Petcam (anti inflammatory and pain med) for when he shows pain. I also give apple cider vinegar when I remember to buy it.
I still give him a hot and cold compress treatment on sundays and a massage a few times a week.

I keep arnica in just in case the boys hurt themselves both in gel form and pill.

If you want to give fish oil I'd give fish body oil not just cod liver and it's more beneficial
