Dempsey and the Sheep

When we were in Yorkshire a couple of years ago, we took Dempsey down a country road and stopped at a gate to a field. Usually, sheep don't like dogs, as they're predators, but the sheep in the field took an instant liking to Dempsey! They were rubbing their faces against Dempsey's through the gate and Dempsey was wagging his tail like mad!

They thought, from the shape of his head (and the smell) that he was one of them!

Ain't that sweet! I would hesitate to say that a white EBT looks like a sheep, but we all know that sheep are as thick as ....

 ...bull terriers!

He did sort of spoil it the next year though, by chasing sheep on the moors. Naughty boy!

There was no malice in it, he wanted to play with them, but a farmer wouldn't have seen it that way!

The nice farmers with their guns would have been a bit grumpy about it, I think!

I think mum has all of the Yorkshire pics!

I've got them on disc, I think. I'll have a look later.
