Took the noodles to the beach
I can't remember if i have taken Billy to the beach before or not? Anywho, packed the car up and off we went. Took my sister too. HArd work trying to hold two dogs and my sister
Noone else parked so i just let Lexi tiddle along at her own pace, shes too old now to be bothered about other dogs anyway she just doesn't care, but after getting on the beach i let Billy off. Lexi tried to stay in the middle between him and us, couldn't quite decide which was better haha but she couldn't keep up with him so stayed with us. Its her first time properly out since her accident
Billy has ben very good lately with his calling, and i have to say today he was impeccable. He came back every time i called (but sometimes he genuinely could not hear me with the wind howling) but if he saw me flapping about he came running. I walked to one end then back as usual, and i usually put the lead on when im about 100 yards from the entrance. So this in mind, i start to gather my lead to call billy and i see another dog coming onto the beach and think oh no, im going to have to go over and apologize for having a dog with very bad recall and manners lol but no he heard me, and saw me flapping and came right over to me and i was able to get the lead on (usually he runs to me, touches base, then runs off again before i can catch him)
So proud of him Lexi was her usual easy self lol
In this last pic you can see the little teeny black spot that is billy lol this is literally seconds before i saw the other dog and called him might even be able to see it in the photo...its right beside the little cottage, which shows how close billy was. im not sure if he saw it or not tbh.

Lovely photos! Especially the one with Billy silhouetted by the ocean, 4th from last.

Nice walk and great pics! Looks like the pups really enjoyed their run and toddle.

Fantastic photos!
Billy's becoming a very well behaved boy, isn't he?
I love lexi's coat.

He is very well behaved yes. Could not have asked for a better boy. I think i have bonded with him a lot more because lexi is now inside. I resented him before, which is sad - he is a dog and not his choice! but there it is lol

You're so lucky to have a beach so close to you, I wish I could visit one like that.
