Babys funeral
I think i told some of you about my friend whos baby was not going to live long after birth.
Well he was brought into the world on monday morning and went to heaven 8 hours later. He was so perfect looking, so it is so hard to comprehend how he died. My friend was clearly heart broken but omg that woman and her husband have the strength of an army. They were just inspiring.
My heart was breaking the entire time (still is, i have a little cry now and again..like now writing this)
Rest easy baby Zak

Oh, that's so sad. There's nothing as terrible as the loss of such a young and beautiful life.
Rest in peace, Zac.

Re: Babys funeral
You know Hayley, I was once told by a very old man.... we are all here to learn something?... It may take us one minute, one day or many, many yrs.... But once we learn what we have come to be taught, we leave.
My thoughts go out to your friends. My friend lost her bub during birth.
That tiny white coffin carried by just one man (her uncle) will never leave my mind.
Her mum was fine till 6mths after, a real trooper, did everything, kept going, smiled, worked, cleaned, cooked, lived life..... 6 mths after she was the snappiest, grumpiest, mean woman I've ever met in my life for ages after.
Just be understanding if they appear angry or annoyed for seemingly no reason tomorrow or many months from now when it really hits them! There is a good reason. I trully feel their pain.
Take them some flowers from your garden with a casserole or soup, spaghetti & bread,or whatever?, dinner to reheat. Flowers from home mean so much more than brought ones & not having to cook will be a great help at this time for them.
R.I.P Zak. Not long of this world but forever in many hearts.

Oh Hayley, I'm so sorry. Poor little mite - Rest In Peace, baby.
Modern technology can be a mixed blessing. On the one hand, your friends knew what to expect. On the other hand they had to go through this knowing what to expect. What a double-edged sword and my heart goes out to them.

She's living with her mum atm (she gave up her house thinking she had to move to a specialist centre when the baby had a chance of life) so food is ok but I love the flower idea I have lots of lovely daffodils here now. I dunno where her mums house is but I might go and put them in baby Zak's grave. Might do the rounds and get some on my grandparents too.
