My best night in... ever!

Long story short.....

25yr old friend of my OH ( Ian), he's known him since he was a small child. ( he is intellectually challenged) but a beautiful man.   It's a professional dance studio. Damn can they move.

Anyway... he dances, (cabaret/ ballroom) his family dont support him doing it...    So Con & I went in their place tonight.  

What a great night!!!  I had such a ball! Granpa's dancing with kids, Everyone dancing with anyone.... barn dances.... rumbas... cha chas.. congo lines... etc.

Ian won a gold certificate!  

Then.... the 1st time in 8 yrs Con got up & danced with me. A slow waltz. (He never dances)  maybe he did as I had been dancing the old "YMCA" With another man but, who cares...

I GOT HIM TO DANCE WITH ME! On the dance floor!

I will not forget this night ever.

Ian was just brilliant. I was so proud of him.

Even cons mum didn't believe con danced till we did a waltz in her kitchen as it was greek easter last weekend & we were there to pig out & see all the family.

Theresa... con doesn't dance anywhere at anytime. But now.... he will! Haaaaaaaa.

Tracy, as Con is Greek, if he dances nothing else, he must dance the Syrtaki! I just love that dance

No, he dosent. But I do! It's so much fun & I always take a white hankie to their dos just incase a dance breaks out so I am ready to go while he rolls his eyes at me.

Its best danced after far too much food & wine... holding each other stops everyone from falling over as it speeds up.
