Got in a fight and now have a bloody lip...

Okay, so it wasn't really a fight. I was playing with Dempsey and he head butted me. Surprised he hasn't done it before!

Dogs' heads are amazingly hard. My last Dobie, Rio, was just 6 months old when she jumped up onto the sofa just when I was bending down over it, and head-butted me on the eyebrow.

She was fine - but I got the biggest blackest eye you ever saw . Unfortunately, I was going through a marriage break-up at the time, and even though I smothered it with thick make-up no-one at work believed me that it was my puppy!

I'm okay! It didn't actually hurt that much. Thank you
