Re: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
The next one's out next month, I think. Plus a brand new illustrated breed standard.

Kennel Club Staffordshire Bull Terrier Exhibition
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is the subject of new KC art exhibition
AN EXHIBITION featuring one of the UK’s most popular breeds, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, is now on show at the Kennel Club Art Gallery, which houses the largest collection of dog paintings in Europe.
More than 160 paintings, engravings, sculptures and ephemera on the Stafford from 1820 until the present day comprise ‘The Staffordshire Bull Terrier and its Ancestors’, which will celebrate the history and development of the breed. Some of the exhibits have never been seen on public display before.
The artists featured include Maria Heskins, Paul Doyle and Pollyana Pickering, and there are historical portraits of early Bull Terrier types, bronzes and a collection of vintage photographs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The sculpture collection on display highlights the porcelain models by Beswick, Royal Doulton and Meissen.
The exhibition will run until June 20 and can be viewed by appointment from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm. To book an appointment or for further information, phone 020 7518 1064 or email artgallery@thekennelclub.org.uk.
