Tommy is going to start a Florists
with all these pretty flowers he is getting at the moment
1st place Post Graduate Dog in todays Potteries SBTC Limit Show
And the final line up for Best Dog in Show ( we didn't do anything in this but Tommy managed to make himself look like a banana from the top and I didn't think it was too bad to start fidgeting , and somebody else though it was so who knows whether it would have changed things )
Best Dog was 1st on left and Reserve went to 2nd from left

Did you like the Bully pics Caryll ?? the page I invited you to like was a girl at the show yesterday asked me if I would take some pics for her as she was there on her own and I was wandering round like David Bailey , this was the Black Brindle and White and she did a great job with her ( Ruby I think she was called ) just a shame for her that she was the only 1 in class but came back with 3 Rosettes ( Best Bitch , Best Pup and Best of Breed ) as she was the only Full size Bully in the show

Oh fantastic Dave and Tommy! You've both had a very busy weekend. What are you going to do with all that Pero?

Think we might give it a try as we near the end of the Wainwrights Lynda , a friend ( has Tommy's litter sister ) is on it after feeding Wainwrights and find she has calmed down a lot ( still hates her brother though ) He experienced lots of poos for about a month and she has settled into it very well now and wouldn't change back . I've not researched it much but apparently that was a criticism of lots of people trying it but seemed to give up in the short term.
It works out slightly cheaper then Wainwrights as it is currently £26.99 a bag for 12kg , ( Wainwrights is £39.99 for 15kg ) but feeding a bit more so maybe only a couple of quid in it .

Don't change until after Crufts - just in case Tommy decides to do a dump in the middle of the show ring!
After that if it suits Tommy then it's obviously worth a try, especially if it proves to be a more calming food. I'd try it myself if Kuchar would only contemplate dry food, which he won't (he's on Wainwrights trays).

We still have over a bag and half of Wainwrights yet , that would be over 6 weeks feeding both of them so probably start in about 4 weeks time and mix in over 3 -4 weeks

I'm sure some dog, at some point, has pooped in the Crufts ring!
So... You're not short on food then?

Oh, yes!!
Many years ago (when the show was till at Earl's Court) I saw a Great Dane pee up a judge's leg! All the judge did was get a couple of tissue & wipe it off a bit, then carried on as if nothing had happened!

No worries then - a dog has to do what a dog has to do

Re: Tommy is going to start a Florists
My only real concern with Pero is the gimmicky "breed specific" thing. A good quality dry food will be just as good for a german shepherd as it would a stafford/labrador/spaniel etc etc.
Maybe a working dog needs different nutrients, but otherwise I just don't see the point.
