Welcome to Friends of the Animals RCT


Friends of the Animals is an independent, home based rescue run completely by volunteers. Although based in Wales, Friends of the Animals has helpers and supporters throughout the UK. Friends of the Animals is committed to the reduction in numbers of homeless and unwanted dogs and has a strict policy of neutering all dogs prior to rehoming. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS

Our priority is to find the ideal home for each dog in our care. Because individual dogs’ needs vary greatly, we do not have set criteria for adopters, instead we try to be as flexible as possible, in order to ensure that we can find a perfect match. We do not however re-home where resident dogs are not already neutered/spayed unless this is for health reasons.

Adoption Application

You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator so please be prepared to be interrogated   . If we think you are able to provide the right home we will then arrange a home visit. If this is successful you will be expected to come and meet your dog either in Wales or at their foster home.
