His owner was looking him rehomed for a year due to personal things so she brought him with enough food to last, and with my own land it really doesn't cost that much extra, hes only teeny. No, shes trying again this year as the stud offers a return if theres no pregnancy first time.

I thought the last time was 'the last time' because of her age?

Oh lovely! Thank you Hayley.
Thriller is a poppet - looking like a Newfoundland dog right now!
So good to hear that you are enjoying your minis - keep up your riding though, you're better than I think you think you are!

lol i already answered this last time that you said it. Next year is the last time and if it doesn't work it doesn't work. this year was because the stallion was for sale. He still hasn't sold and its not likely he will at this point. Anyway, shes only 14, a lot of horses breed into their 20s. I'm just being over cautious.

That's great Hayley! Professionals can be fierce but don't let that scare you - from what I remember you have a great position in the saddle , what looked like good hands and empathy with your horse.
As for Goldie - she doesn't look 14 does she! Still a glamour girl and has bags of time ahead of her to produce a mini-Goldie.
