What would you have??
First topic message reminder :
So if for some reason, we couldn't have the dogs we have now, what dog breed would you have or is there no other breed for you?
I'd personally LOVE love LOVE to own a Pit Bull Terrier they're hands down my favorite breed in the world! I'd also love a Dogo Argentino and maybe I'd have a Cane Corso and a Bully Kutta too!

My heart says if we got number 3 it would have to be another Stafford and then I would really want to get a pup to try showing from the start ( I've got the bug big style ) so difficult one . On the other hand a BC pup as it got older could run the socks off Tommy and I would enjoy thinking about maybe doing some agility ..................... oooh so tough and could only really really warrant another Stafford if I was rescuing ................... so many thoughts

Ooohh that is a mighty hard decision Dave! At work we've just got two little red pups come in!! So I think you should rescue both of those, rescue a older Staff and get a BC pup! Tommy would be very tired
Definitely think you need a even number though Dave, say you'll get a BC pup if you can get another Stafford

Suppose you are right really . Jo said we could have no 3 if she stopped working ( only does 2 hrs a day when she is well enough so not going to break the bank ) no 3 sort of tips the balance on practicality so no 4 would not be impossibe would it

I like big dogs, but my heart belongs to the big fluffies! Pyreneans, Newfoundlands, etc..
There's something about mastiffs though. They have really gentle eyes!

Lynda's had a couple of dobes in the past - if you ask nicely, maybe she'll put some pics up!
I love dobes (even though one of them ripped Dempsey's left ear to shreds & left us with £600+ in vets bills!)

Not a tough decision at all...
"Ok Jo, this is how it is; we get a BC pup to do some agility with, and then we get a Stafford pup to do some showing with - deal?"

Did you and Jo ever sort out the staffy/collie predicament, Dave?
I love them too, Caroline Lovely dogs! It's a shame some people seem to think that Dobes are aggressive. I don't think I've ever actually met a human aggressive one!
