This annoys me! (I wanted to use another word)
I try to think... we eat cows, dogs are food in some countries as are cats. I dont happen to agree but... I have to be rational. Cow, sheep, pig, goat, dog, possum or cat? What is acceptable to one is not to the next.

Poor hygiene in food preparation is another topic.

&as for stealing dogs for food! talk to the hand

I agree completely! Each culture has its delicacies, but animal cruelty and neglect should never be a part of it!

I never condone cruelty. But am aware what I see as cruel is not the same for a farmer.

I think there are a lot of mixed opinions about farming, but to steal and keep dogs in tiny makeshift cages? sad

How can they think that's right?

But... you &I do not share animal preservation ideas with the world. Pls dont get me wrong... that article makes me hug my guys tighter but....our animals are thought of far higher than theirs.

I think it can be difficult at times to understand different cultures. Even though I don't eat meat, I couldn't ever eat a dog, as I associate dogs with companionship.

It is hard. I get annoyed many times , but even here...my bro inlaw is a farm boy. They kill cattle for food. They just got a pig, he was to be food once he grew but.. long story short... I got him to call him Wilbur. He got a name so, hes no longer food, hes a pet.

It isn't something I'm entirely comfortable with, but I do understand it. Most people eat meat and it has to come from somewhere.

Im not comfortable with it either. I can assure you, after I see a cow playing & I run with them in the field, feed them & pat their fat heads.... I dont eat roast!

I just always try to put my mind where theres is. But you could stab me in the heart & I'd still never eat a dog.
