I hope you physio went ok this morning. They are scary people! I've watched them working with people who had knee replacements the day after their op and it looked painful. Eleanors idea for small exercises at home would be good

Hope it went a little better this morning - did you put your foot down (the one with the good knee, that is!)?

Re: Lynda
Thank you all - it went brilliantly! My regular (from now on) physio was such a nice guy, explained why each exercise would be helpful in regaining strength and control in certain muscles, and told me (before I even lifted my voice in protest) to listen to my body and not push beyond what I can physically do each day, as each day will get a bit better in what I can do.
I am feeling SO optimistic now.

That's really great, Lynda! I'm so pleased for you! I did think it was unfair that the last physio people were trying to push you beyond what felt right.
