Booful Tommy, even if he is a grubby bubby!
btw, I remember advising you ages ago not to bathe Tommy just before a show, and this was based on my experience with my Dobies where they got all dandruffy, and I fear I might have misled you because sometime afterwards I gave Kuchar his first ever bath (well, vigorous shower) and he wasn't dandruffy at all afterwards so it may have been just a Dobie thing.
Anyway, you'll have found out for yourself how Tommy's coat/skin reacts to being washed.
Wishing you both the very best for Saturday - rock on Tommy!!!!!!!

Nope lol I have to actually wash him to find that out , seriously he is laid on our bed now clean as anything and only had a run over with a Towel , we should call him Teflon Tommy

Nah, a brisk rub down will see him right! Mucky pup!
Good luck at the national terrier - should be a good entry.

believe the bitch entry is higher than dog entry something like 90-95 bitches . This is a good result since lots of people were talking about boycotting it

Re: Got a little Mucky on his walk tonight
tbh when I showered Kuchar (and only because he had rolled in some dog poo) surprisingly very little dirt came out of his coat. Whereas my Dobes would brush against woodwork like doorframes and leave a great smear and I had to shower them every 3 months or so.
Maybe Staffies are magic and have self-cleaning coats!
I'd be interested in learning about the possible boycott too!

I think it very much depends on the coat type. Dempsey has very long, soft, thick fur for a Bull Terrier, so dirt gets trapped easily. Others only need a quick brush every couple of days to keep them clean!
