The most wonderful thing has happened tonight!

My best friend from primary school in grade 5 (1981) has found me!  
I never thought I'd hear from her again. We kept in contact for many yrs visiting each other, holidays, phone calls, (back in the landline days) via hand written letters between us every other week, (I still have them) .... but we lost contact many yrs ago. We were always so close. Where one was... the other was right behind. Ohhhh its a long story! We both cried when she had to go so far away. I have thought about her often over the yrs &tried to find her but to no avail.... i never thought I would find her again.

SHE FOUND ME! I am so happy.  
I may not sleep while I chat to her tonight.

That is fabulous.   
The world is getting to be a lot smaller these days. I had a friend that was the same and we found each other on Facebook last year after 11 years of no contact.

Facebook is where she found me! But.... I never check facebook! I just view posts from other people or their comments. I happened to log in & in came a request/ message.

She has a sense of humor that could dry a platypus & her mum is just the tops!

I'm very happy for you. Facebook does have it's uses.

I lost touch with my best friend in my teens, entirely my own fault, and I tried to find her through facebook but with no luck. Fantastic that it has worked for you - have a great reunion!

Most of my non Stafford / Dog friends , work friends and family that I have on FB are people that I've not seen for 20 years plus FB is great for stuff like that
