And sometimes they follow you around, as I have found. It is a bit like stalking really. Luckily, there is the foe button option.

Such a small thing but so handy

I finally completely understand how this feature can be handy.

It's handy if you want to pm someone, although I'm not sure it's of any other use.  

Never thought I would but..... I found a foe! & I see them lurking here!!!
I'm not clicking foe as I will watch them also. Just dont care to comment if they ever do again.

You know who you are..... (2 fingers forward, back to my eyes.)

If you click foe they cannot read your posts nor you theres! What with the pms?
Can they still pm you? Or vice versa? Who else can see them? I thought the point of the name was that is was private!

No, I don't think they can pm you either.

Nobody (not even Eleanor & I) can see other people's pms unless you choose to either 'report' an abusive pm or copy & paste something you're not happy with.

Private means private.  

Adding somebody to your Foe's list means that they can still see your posts, but you can't see theirs. You also won't see any private messages that they send you.

The only people who can see a private message are the sender and receiver of the message. If I sent a private message to you now, you and I would be the only people who could see it.

So they can see your post, post a reply, but you won't see their reply?
Ohhhh, if thats correct, thats not good!

Theresa.... pls tell me my foe is not the same as yours & Sians?

Oh, and you can't add staff members to your Foes list!

I've just been having a fiddle around - if you add someone to your foes list, then although you can't see their posts, a little message is displayed instead which says something like "This post was made by (whoever your foe is) who is blocked by you. Click here to display the message"

So although you don't see it, you still know they've posted.

Ah, that makes more sense!

Now I get it. Its really just a mask of their posts but dosent actually stop either one seeing the others posts.
