Love the soap Ella
The sampler is beautiful Tracy. I love x-stitch but I haven't done any for ages. I used to work in the local art & craft shop (it's closed now ) I loved it there, one of those jobs that's not like a job. We could do things like x-stitch while we were at work because it was like a sample to show customers

Re: The crafters thread
I also make my own doggie/human bickies. They would only last a week but, no problem here.I have to hide them or my puppies wont get any before my OH eats them.
Sorry, they never last long enough to take a pic.
They are egg dough with cheese, crunchy little bits of near burnt bacon, & parsley for fresh breath.
If you roll them really thin, they are lovely with a dip at parties. But the dogs like them thick & hearty so....
Yes, he steals the food from the mouths of babes!
Did you make dog biscuits? Hmmmm, yummy!
Get your filthy fingers off!!! They are for Jess & Tyson. I don't care of you're hungry....get out!!!!

Re: The crafters thread
Sorry if you're not interested but i took photos during my last make, as a couple of people did ask out of interest so thought i'd share with you guys!
But this is a soap loaf i've made for the faire i'm doing next week. I've called it 'Memory Lane' which is a glycerin soap made to smell like strawberry laces To say i'm over the moon with how it's come is an understatement, i did a little dance when i cut it
So made loads of soap curls for the embeds
Final pour and glitter added
unmoulded this afternoon
Shot of the bottom
all cut up
all unique slices
Enjoy!

It all looks amazing, but the final cut soap looks incredible!
It's so good that you have something you enjoy doing like that. It definitely shows through!

Re: The crafters thread
I am OVER the moon, I've written a cold process soap recipe which is mine from scratch, I've practised simple recipes as is recommended when learning CP soaping but i just hope this turns out like i think it should, so fingers crossed.
So this is 'Magic Potion' silk CP soap - made with Rice bran oil, Coconut oil, Organic palm oil (sustainable), Cocoa butter, Shea butter, Caster oil and Tussah silk.
All ready to start
All done with a couple of cupcakes for us with leftovers
