Met some Bona Fide Guide dogs today
A girl that worked for me over school holidays years ago popped in to say hello.
Her mum and step-dad are both legally blind (have some slight vision) and both have guide dogs.
Lovely people with lovely dogs that I feel quite happy to say don't always listen to the first command
I've asked them to send me some pics of the 2 girls.
The brain fart seems to be contagious as I can only recall the one dogs name now.
Sally is a Golden Retriever cross Labrador and the other girl is a Golden Retiever.

Re: Met some Bona Fide Guide dogs today
I am full of admiration for guide dogs, they do a brilliant job.
They're not robots though - I remember one man coming out of an alleyway with his dog just as I and my dog reached it. I think the guide dog was slightly thrown by suddenly coming face to face with my Dobie and veered slightly to say "hello", which confused the man. I apologised saying "she was just saying hello to my dog" but I felt dreadful. If I ever meet a guide dog "on duty" again, I shall steer well clear to avoid distracting it, especially if I have a dog with me.

Sally and Waquita.
I'm still waiting for some pics. They're on holiday so not rushed to do things.

Must have missed this!
I love to meet Guide Dogs; amazing animals. I also love seeing them off duty, running around and acting like silly buggers!

These 2 are lovely girls. I got to dispense some training tips today as Waquita was donated and not raised through the association which makes a bit of a difference.
