I wonder if the 'Rolf Harris scandal' has had anything to do with it.

That had crossed my mind too - donations may have dried up. Sad if it is.

It really is. They're not to blame for any of what happened; they were just unfortunate enough to be the ones to use him as a spokesperson. Let's face it: no matter how many people claim that they 'knew something was dodgy about him', the majority of them wouldn't have had a clue.

He was never as obvious as Jimmy Savile.

No, that was just horrific. One of the things I find truly appalling about that was that people did know. I understand that a lot of people were terrified of telling anybody, as it could cause them to lose their jobs and become unable to earn money for their families. The BBC ought to be ashamed, though.
