Man abandons elderly, neglected Chow Chow in the freezing weather outside an animal hospital - might have to be euthanised

The man was seen on CCTV making the sign of the cross as he walked away from the dog, but (surprise!) he looked directly up at the camera a second before. I think it was just for show.

It took three technicians four hours to clip away all of the matted fur! :(Apparently if they can't receive enough donations to send him to a farm upstate, he'll have to be euthanized. They don't have the facilities to keep him at the animal hospital and they don't think he'll be adopted

Checking the comments section though, somebody has said they are interested in adopting him and are hopefully going to phone the animal hospital! Fingers crossed!

I hope he does get a home - we'll have to try and follow this one up.
