Also how do we know our time and God's time runs at the same length?

thumbs up

I like to think of it as God just letting his garden grow unhindered. He planted the seeds and gives them the odd sprinkling of water, but then he sits back and lets them take of themselves.

I believe basically the same thing but that the garden needs the odd bag of fertiliser, mulch, prune etc.. although if I take how things are going these days it looks more like the garden is dying from being choked by weeds.

It's easy to look at it that way, isn't it? I'm ashamed to say that humans are responsible for so many of the endangered species we have today. On the bright side, evolution is still plodding along.

One of my favourite products of evolution is the blind cave fish. It was all started by a neutral mutation and has little effect on the species, but I find it so fascinating! Albinism and the absence of eyes would usually result in a speedy death; those little guys are so perfectly adapted to their habitats, though, that it doesn't even matter.

I was doing some reading on them in Darwin's Origin of Species just last week and I would highly recommend it for anybody interested in evolution.

I've been reading some things on evolution as well and it is totally fascinating.

I've now started browsing through Dog Behaviour, Evolution, and Cognition - Adam Miklosi. So much to digest but wow.

I used that as one of my references for my Genetics assignment! happy Another I'd recommend is The Genetics of the Dog by Ruvinsky and Sampson.
