I don't think that's the right way to go about preventing dog attacks. Although I strongly disagree with the argument of 'no dog breed is more or less prone to bite than another', I don't believe that APBTs are inherently predisposed to be aggressive.

They're genetically predisposed to be dog aggressive but human aggression is wrong. They're quite lovely dogs if properly socialised. Here in S.A loads of people think they're great guard dogs because they see unsocial, frustrated dogs snarling and wanting to kill everything that walks past their house.
It looks like pitties are becoming a political rallying call. The media have frightened all of society incapable of thinking for themself and now dog bites and pitbulls are used to win votes.

I'm not so sure. Terriers are genetically predisposed to be feisty and quick to scrap, but that's the group as a whole. Personally, though, I wouldn't label that as aggression in the same way that the media would.

I think the Cincinnati mayor should wear a special hat.
