First topic message reminder :

She said to tell you all that the operation went well and that she enjoyed listening to the sawing and hammering! laughing

VERY stiff this morning, but it's the muscles, not the knee joint.

I'll have a better idea how things are when I see the physio later this morning.

You must have welcomed a good night's sleep, because I bet you didn't get any the previous night.

Poor you!

I hope the physio has helped you today hug

Strangely enough I had a terrible night sleep last night! Didn't matter what position I got into, my leg ached.

But at physio this morning I managed to do three full turns on the exercise bike - doesn't sound much, but I was nowhere near it before.

It's getting there!

I'm sure it WILL get better Caryll - keep battling on!

I was never subjected to an exercise bike (thank heavens!) - what a gruesome torture to put you through. Well done for your achievement Gold

Hooray - that IS good news.

Actually, my mum had a poorly hip about 10 years ago when she was 80 and was always putting hot pads etc on it. The doctor sent her to have it "manipulated" under general anaesthetic. Don't know what they did but it worked wonders, she hasn't had to have the hip replaced nor nuffink!

"Manipulation" is just a fancy word for "Forcing back in place" with tremendous pain!

Never known pain like it, but yes, it seems to have worked.

I am very, very glad Caryll. (Not for your pain, but for the good results).

Forward!

Sounds promising! I'm glad it's feeling much more moveable now.
