I actually quite liked the water dog, but the Dottie was something special! So was the GSD!

I'm not a huge fan of the waters, but that dog was an amazing example of the breed!

Thank you for the update, Eleanor.
Did you see any Dobermanns? If so, what were they like? Are they all long-tailed now, and are their necks dreadfully long now?
I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your day (apart from getting drunk )

Saw (and heard) some Dobes yesterday at Discover Dogs, who were very sweet and friendly! Long tails and average necks.
Tbh, it's been a while since I had a good drink, so that was nice as well! Thank you!

Thanks for the info Eleanor - I'm glad to hear that the Dobe's necks haven't got too elongated as that is the way the breed was going when I was showing my Dobes; they were beginning to look like giraffes and Wobblers Syndrome was becoming a problem. Hopefully that has been addressed in the breed.

Yeah, hopefully! I'm glad they've taken notice of Wobblers Syndrome as well!
