I don't know much about the Toy group, so I couldn't comment on the winner, but I'm 100% behind the Utility winner. I predicted the Standard Poodle would win the group - it stood out a mile above the rest (although they were all lovely dogs).

Shame about the Chow Chow. Gorgeous dog, but looked very nervous. There are people complaining that the judge 'gave up' on the dog and was being biased. I disagree with this completely - the judge took note of the dog's body language, attempted to quietly approach at least three times and then left the dog alone. The dog clearly didn't want the judge near him and made that very clear. I say good on the judge for respecting that.

I think some people just take showing too seriously. The dog's health and welfare should come first.

Absolutely, plus the fact that if he'd pushed the dog too far he could have been bitten, and that wouldn't have looked at all good on national tv!!
