The toughest question ever.
The toughest question ever.
I know... we all want both but...
But, If you can only have one.
Your dog(s) or partner?
What would be your choise?

My OH & I were discussing it. We decided the dogs would win as both of us can take care of ourselves.
(Me probably more than him.)

From that point of view, yes.
But it isn't a choice i could make willingly, and i suppose the circumstances would make a difference!

My dogs. Haven't met anyone that compares or would make the question difficult yet.

We're actually now trying to rehome 2 dogs that are the victims of a divorce. Husband doesn't want them and the wife doesn't have space or funds to keep them.
That's another problem.

Jess was always my girl from the day I got her & he (my ex) didnt want her from day dot. When I left, he had grown to love her, he wanted to keep her. (Over my dead body!)
I don't understand how anyone, for any reason gives up their dog? I would sleep in the park before I ever thought of giving mine up & even then..... I think not!
Once I take an animal home, that's it. They are my responsibility for life.

My dogs as they keep me company , provide a pillow for my back and lick my toes , and they give me no grief whatsoever and only kindness and affection
