Bad news
First topic message reminder :
Had news from the doctor today to confirm Joseff has a severe allergy to mylo. At the moment Joseff looks like he's sunburnt from his reaction to him.
We have to re home mylo, we don't want him to get to anyone. We want him to go to a loving home, one that we can visit him or at least see photos of him to see if he's doing well.
We're so upset by this because he's amazing but we can't leave Joseff suffer anymore.
Was wondering if you guys could help in any way?

Re: Bad news
Glad he is settling in outside. Hopefully you won't have to rehome and your son grows out of the allergy. A lot of people are allergic to saliva and some fur, but as long as you keep him well groomed and keep his contact limited it will be worth a shot to see how Joseff is in a while.

Yes that's my idea too. We bought that Hoover attachment for pooch. He actually loves it lol. So much easier to groom him!
Hopefully it'll work out

Re: Bad news
That is all brilliant news.
So often young children have allergic-type reactions to all sorts of triggers and grow out of them as they become, by degrees, acclimatised to life around them. My own son had the most sensitive skin you could ever imagine when he was a baby, a great surprise as his family on both sides are as tough as old boots, but by about 18 months old he was OK.
Hopefully you won't have to rehome Mylo and that Joseff toughens up his immune system - good luck!
