Poor Dempsey again!

The day before yesterday he had more than his usual amount of exercise & he over did it a bit. So yesterday he was a bit stiff & seemed a bit sore so I gave him a couple of doggie painkillers in the morning & another two with his evening meal.

They work a treat, but they slightly upset his tummy. He doesn't get the runs, but when he needs to poo, he needs to poo now!

So, Tuesday being my day off work, I was looking forward to a nice lie in when at 6:15am.....

"Woof" very quietly outside my door, followed by several more quiet "woofs".

I get up & a nice surprise package is in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs.   Now, Dempsey being Dempsey, he won't walk past his own poo.   I have to clear it up completely before he'll go downstairs again to go outside! Prissy little boy - he'll plough through horse or cow poo, but won't go near his own!

Anyway, by 6:30 this morning, on my day off, I'm out and about the streets of Northampton walking a dog!  

Aww, poor thing!

He's ok. He just gets a bit caught short!

He's back on 4 walks a day until his strain (or whatever it is) has cleared up. Hopefully that'll keep him comfortable.
