Demps is passing blood in his stools

First topic message reminder :

Not an emergency case, as it's only a very small amount of watery, pale blood. Not digested, so it's from his lower digestive tract. We're almost certain that he's been chewing his bedding, so it's probably irritated his linings. He's been going to the toilet, eating properly, no lethargy, etc..

Seems like what ever it is he's eaten is currently in his rectum (or near it) and is just waiting to pass through. We're going to keep an eye on him. If he gets any worse, it'll be a vet trip. Probably the same case as last time though - he puts everything in his mouth.

I've thrown away some of his tattered bedding. In future, the first time we catch him chewing on any of it, the blanket will be taken away and replaced with a new one. Will also wash them regularly to get rid of any food traces.

It sounds so cute that Dempsey wants to take his toys with him. My two are lazy and drop them as soon as we get outside lol.

Can't have a dog and not talk about poo, either!

Demps never used to, but we've found a type of toy that he absolutely loves! Also, he's lost a lot of weight in the last few weeks and is a lot fitter than he used to be, so that helps.
