Dempsey's Kool Collar

First topic message reminder :

Dempsey's Kool Collar arrived a couple of days ago but the weather was atrocious so we couldn't use it.

However, it is really warm today & I took Dempsey on his favourite walk over Bradlaugh Fields. He came back very hot indeed, so I thought I'd give his collar a try. Within about 1-2 minutes he had stopped panting and was lying very comfortably indeed, so very impressed!

The brolly's ok for us, but you can't hold one over the bbq - it tends to catch light!  

The barbecue usually takes care of itself, luckily!

Well Eleanor you'd certainly be enjoying what's happening right now above my house. After quite a nice day - some cloud, some sun, reasonably warm - there is a thunderstorm with rain and hail falling in stair-rods. The temperature has dropped at least 10 C in as many minutes.

I must admit that it's quite chilly here as well, and although it's very damp it isn't actually raining!

It got up to 25C today, but that wasn't too bad. I did use the opportunity to test out Dempsey's Kool Collar on myself though! Works a charm!

OMG! 25c & kool collar.   I got up to 12c put on a tracky & my OH lit the fire to warm the house.   

This is coming from the country that had torrential rain the day before and after though! We take any bit of sun we can get!

I got up to 7 degrees and went back to bed till it got to 15. It's freaking been freezing the last few days.
