One Line Stories

First topic message reminder :

The aim is to build a story. Each person can type one line of a story, following on from the last person's line. Childish? Yes. But who cares?

So...

Once upon a time...

Once upon a time there was a fairy princess with a pet unicorn which was really grumpy

because his horn was pink and all the other unicorns made fun of him.

"But pink's a nice colour" said the fairy princess, "Prince Tippytoes, my fiance, wears it all the time!"

"But it's sparkly pink!" the unicorn grumbled.

"What's wrong with sparkly?" she asked angrily

"It makes me look like a girl unicorn!"

"Do girl unicorns have pink horns then?" asked the fairy princess "Because ...

...I've never seen one!"

"no, they're white, like every other unicorn" he replied

"Then how can you say it makes you look girly?" she asked slyly

"Dunno" he confessed, maybe because

you've already threatened to castrate me if

I don't stop flirting with

Prince Tippytoes!"

"I know Prince Tippytoes wears pink" the princess replied "But

that doesn't make him a girl!"

"I know - sigh" said the unicorn, but

he's so pretty in pink, and I can't

help feeling a bond with him, because

after all, he's going to marry you &

then where will I be?

How can I be your unicorn when you're more interested in him?"

"Please understand" the princess begged

But just as she said this, there was a huge flash of light

and the fairy king appeared...
